Order Processing Times
The cut-off time for processing and shipping orders is 11:00 am EST. Any orders placed after 11 am EST will be shipped the following business day (Monday-Friday excluding holidays). Steiff North America's business hours are Monday through Friday, 9 am to 5 pm EST.
Order Questions or Changes
If you have recently placed an order via the Steiff Online Store and need information about it or would like to change it, the fastest way to get immediate assistance is to contact us via email at usa.service@steiff.com. In an effort to get your order to you as soon as possible, order processing begins immediately after we receive the order. Changes, modifications or cancellation(s) of your order may not be possible. Duty, Customs, Taxes and Foreign Transaction Fees
There may be duty, taxes, and foreign transaction fees imposed on your order that aren't reflected in our prices. Check with your local Customs office and card issuer for those charges. Upon receiving your order, it is essential to retain all accompanying paperwork and any emails related to your purchase, as they may contain crucial information for returns or exchanges.
A Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) is required for all returns and can be requested within 30 days of the shipment date. To request an RMA, please email usa.service@steiff.com with your order number and the items you wish to return.
Steiff North America's hours of operation are from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm EST, Monday through Friday. To receive full product credit, your order must be returned to Steiff North America, Inc. within 30 days and return orders will be cancelled after 60 days. Items must be in their original packaging and in new condition; otherwise, they will be rejected and sent back to you. Some items may not be eligible for return. Customers are responsible for learning about specific return restrictions associated with specific products or promotions. Please note that Steiff North America is not responsible for return shipping costs; customers must cover these expenses and may use any carrier of their choice.
Limited Edition returns must be in their original, unopened outer cardboard box with the brown tape sealed to be eligible for a refund. If these conditions are not met, please contact us for more details regarding your return and refund eligibility.
Defective Returns
If the item you wish to return is inoperable but has no apparent damage, it is considered defective. If you receive defective merchandise, please contact Steiff North America, Inc. via email at usa.service@steiff.com for assistance.
Damaged Returns
Damaged merchandise includes items that have been damaged in shipping. If a shipment arrives at your door with obvious shipping damage, please refuse the delivery. If you have already accepted delivery and then find shipping damage, immediately contact Steiff North America, Inc. via email at usa.service@steiff.com.
If you receive damaged merchandise, please save all packaging material and paperwork. If you attempt to return the merchandise yourself, you jeopardize our chances of making a claim, and you may not receive credit for the return.
