In the 100 years since his passing, Theodore Roosevelt has remained one of the most popular U.S. Presidents of all time. Steiff pays tribute to this legendary figure with the latest addition to our “Great American” bear series. The Teddy’s pronounced snout, long arms, and classic silhouette borrow a page from the Steiff history books. Our skilled airbrush artisans have hand painted the muzzle, around the eyes, and in the ears to enhance the bear’s antique appeal. Even his mohair coat is an exact re-creation of a fabric from a century ago. Befitting a bear of such historical significance, our finishing touches also pay homage to the past. Teddy Roosevelt’s signature has been embroidered on the left foot pad. And our tribute is completed with a replica of an antique campaign pin and ribbon — featuring a tiny Teddy that has its very own “Button in Ear.” Whether you’re a fan of the man, a Teddy bear enthusiast, or collector of the “Great American” series, we’re sure you’ll agree: this special commemorative edition is our most magnificent Roosevelt bear yet.
