Steiff invented the Teddy bear in 1902. To mark the year of the Teddy bear, Steiff are enormously excited to introduce the Steiff Teddy bear family. Head of the Steiff family, Papa Bear brings calmness and confidence to the home. Made of a russet mohair skilfully applied by a batik process. This will ensure each Papa Bear is unique. Using this batik technique adds additional depth and character to an already impressive Teddy bear. Dressed in an elegant linen waistcoat with a pocket design which coordinates perfectly with all his family members.
